Ganadores de los Premios de la Crítica de Washington.

La Washington DC Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA), que desde 2004 premia a lo mejor del cine ha dado a conocer los ganadores de esta edición, en la que The Artist se vuelve más poderosa al ganar el premio a Mejor Película y Mejor Banda Sonora, al igual que Hugo, pues Martin Scorsese se corona como Mejor Director, The Descendants sigue en la lucha con el premio de la que muchos dicen es la mejor interpretación de George Clooney por The Descendants, La Piel que Habito de Almodovar consigue su primer premio a Mejor Película Extranjera, igualmente es de orgullo que el mexicano Emmanuel Lubezki gane otro premio por su brillante trabajo en El Arbol de la Vida.
