Ganadores de los Bafta 2012

The  Artist arrasa en la última antesala de los oscares, los BAFTA Awards con 7 premios incluyendo mejor película, director y actor respaldándose para los premios de la academia. En los otros apartados histriónicos Spencer, Plummer y Streep (que regaló un momento divertido al caersele el tacón) ganan. La Invención de Hugo Cabret se lleva dos premios y El Espía que Sabía Demasiado (Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy) es la mejor película británica y con el mejor guión adaptado. John Hurt fue reconocido por su aportación al Cine Británico. Harry Potter sólo obtuvo el premio a efectos visuales. A continuación la lista de ganadores:
