Ganadores de los Gremios de Escritores, Directores de Fotografía y Editores.

WRITERS GUILD AWARDS.

En la edición 64 de uno de los sindicatos más importantes de Hollywood Argo necesitaba el premio para completar una racha prácticamente perfecta y lo logró venciendo a Lincoln o Life of Pi, mientras que Mark Boal, escritor de La Noche Más Oscura se alzó como Mejor Guión Original en una categoría donde las más ganadoras no estuvieron nominadas aquí. USC SCRIPTER AWARD

Es la edición número 25 que la University of Southern California premia al mejor guión adaptado y cuyo voto últimamente ha resultado en el Oscar por dicha categoría, en esta ocasión, el guión de Argo, escrito por Chris Terrio y basado en el libro "The Master of Disguise" de Tony Mendez y el artículo "Escape from Tehran" de Joshuah Bearman se llevó el codiciado premio.

ASC AWARDS.

En la premiación número 27 del Gremio de Directores de Fotografía la sorpresa dio acto de presencia al premiar en lugar al trabajo casi cantado de Claudio Miranda por Life of Pi a Roger Deakins por su trabajo en la fotografía de Operación Skyfall. Esto le da mayor posibilidad a la película de James Bond de llevarse el Oscar pero hay que recordar que el año pasado aquí ganó Lubezki con El Arbol de la Vida y en los Oscares Richardson por Hugo.

EDDIE AWARDS

Ganadores de los Gremios de Escritores, Editores, Técnicos y Montadores de Sonido y los USC Awards.

WRITERS GUILD AWARDS:
El hecho que cintas como El Artista, El Árbol de la Vida o Nader y Simin, Una Separación no hayan estado nominadas a Mejor Guión Original le daba a Medianoche en Paris para llevarse este premio. El de Mejor Guión Adaptado de Los Descendientes estaba cantado. Los ganadores:

USC LIBRARIES SCRIPTER AWARD:
La University of Southern California premia cada año a la mejor película basada en una novela, siendo esta junto con los WGA decisivos para la categoría de Mejor Guión Adaptado, en esta entrega Los Descendientes basada en la novela homónima de Kaui Hart Hemmings se llevó el premio.
