Ganadores de los Film Independent Spirit Awards.

El día de ayer se entregaron los premios Film Independent Spirit, que junto con los Gotham Awards premian lo mejor del cine independiente y en esta ceremonia conducida por Seth Rogen, El Artista volvió a dominar ganando en Mejor Película, Director y Actor. Las "sorpresas" (ni tanto) fueron las de apartados histriónicos femeninos, al haber ganado Michelle Williams y Shailene Woodley en protagonista y secundaria respectivamente. Ganadores de los Globos de Oro 2012.

Durante una ceremonia donde dejaron hablar poco a Ricky Gervais y donde la mayoría de sus chistes no me convencieron (especialmente el que dijo sobre Natalie Portman) se han entregado los Globos de Oro donde se vivieron momentos divertidos como el discurso en español de Sofia Vergara, agradables como el premio para Película Animada por "Las Aventuras de Tintín" de Spielberg y emotivos como el premio a Martin Scorsese por la dirección de "La Invención de Hugo Cabret" y el reconocimiento a la trayectoria de Morgan Freeman entregado por el actor Sidney Poitier. En esta entrega "The Artist" se llevó tres Globos de Oro por Película Musical o Comedia, Actor (Musical o Comedia) y Banda Sonora y la película de Alexander Payne "The Descendants " se llevó los de Mejor Película Drama y Mejor Actor de Drama, convirtiéndose las dos cintas como las máximas ganadoras de esta noche. Nominaciones a los Screeen Actors Guild Awards.

 El Sindicato de Actores (Screen Actors Guild) cada año realiza los premios más importantes en el aspecto actoral como antesala de los óscares. La lista de nominados ha sido dada a conocer y es notable que Michael Shannon, Gary Oldman o Albert Brooks no hayan aparecido en la lista de nominados en sus categorías y en cambio se haya elegido al mexicano Demián Bichir (aclarando que no estoy tampoco en contra de la decisión), en la lista a mejor actor, pues los demás han sido multipremiados y nominados en más de una ocasión. Los ausentes en la edición de este año son actores de cintas como The Tree of Life (Pitt y Chastain están nominados pero por otras películas), Extremely Loud and Incredible Close o Drive que no aparecen.
